Sport event limits API

General information

Sport Event Limits are risk management controls assigned to sport event matches to minimize trading risks. These limits help protect against excessive exposure by setting restrictions on betting amounts and introducing delays for bet acceptance. The limits are updated regularly and are calculated using our internal algorithms, which may evolve over time.

Sport event limits consist of:

  • bet_delay - delay in seconds from placeBet to its acceptation/rejection (live matches only)
  • max_bet_risk - the maximum possible win from one bet (in USD)
  • market max_bet_risk_multiplier - the maximum possible win from one bet (in USD) per individual sports event market

This feature works well with Advisory Mode MTS, where you assume full responsibility for risk management. You can use sport event limits to fetch recommended default bet delay or bet risk values for specific events, helping you implement your own risk management controls based on our recommendations.

It is possible to search for sport event limits by several filters (sports event IDs, fixture state) or since the last change has been applied (limit_last_updated_at).
